Dr. Dre Ordered to Pay Ex-Wife Nicole Young $3.5 Million Yearly in Spousal Support

Dr. Dre will be playing his ex-wife Nicole Young a lot of money in spousal support.

On Tuesday (July 20), a Los Angeles court revealed the amount of money that the 56-year-old rapper and record producer will have to pay his ex-wife a month amid their divorce.

According to People, Dr. Dre will be paying $293,306 each month, starting on August 1, in spousal support to Nicole, in order to cover the expenses of their Malibu and Pacific Palisades homes, along with taking care of Nicole‘s health insurance. This totals to a little over $3.5 million a year.

The agree, which is consistent with the couple’s prenuptial agreement, is in place until Nicole remarries or enters into a new domestic partnership, either of them dies, or “until further order of the Court.”

Dr. Dre and Nicole first announced they were splitting up back in June 2020 after 24 years of marriage. Together, they share two kids – son Truce, 24, and daughter Truly, 20.

Several months ago, Nicole and her lawyers requested that she receive $2 million in monthly spousal support from Dr. Dre.

According to a source, the amount that the court ordered Dr. Dre to pay is “consistent with what he has already been paying since the initial separation.”

Just a few weeks ago, Dr. Dre was declared legally single amid their ongoing divorce battle.
