Linda Blair Reacts To 'The Exorcist' Trilogy Reboot

Linda Blair has made her first comments about the upcoming The Exorcist trilogy that was announced earlier today.

Variety reported that Ellen Burstyn, who played Linda‘s mother in the 1978 movie, would be returning as her original character.

After the news, many fans raised the question on if Linda would be involved in it as well.

The first new movie of the trilogy will see Leslie Odom Jr. seeking out Chris after his own child becomes possessed.

Linda revealed that at this time, she has not been contacted to join the film as Regan.

“To all my fans asking about my involvement in the new Exorcist reboot, as of now there has not been any discussions about me participating or reprising my role.”

She added that she wished “all those involved the best and I appreciate the loyalty and passion the fans have for The Exorcist and my character.”
