Anitta Condemns Collaborator DaBaby for Homophobia & Ignorant Comments About HIV/AIDS

Anitta is speaking out.

The 28-year-old Brazilian sensation indirectly called out her “Girl From Rio” collaborator DaBaby following his inflammatory, homophobic remarks at Rolling Loud Festival.

“I will always stand with my LGBTQ+ community. Also sending all my respect and support to stop any ignorance and stigma around HIV/AIDS. I condemn any demonstration of hate. Let love shine through,” she tweeted.

Anitta is among several celebrities who have denounced DaBaby‘s commentary, including Elton John.

If you didn’t know, DaBaby infuriated many people by saying things like “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air” during his set.

His “Levitating” collaborator, Dua Lipa, also just spoke out against him.
