Albert Dyrlund Dead - Danish YouTuber Dies at Age 22 After Accidental Mountain Fall

Albert Dyrlund has sadly died.

The 22-year-old YouTube vlogger hailing from Denmark passed away after a tragic fall from a mountain, his family confirmed to local media, via People.

His mother Vibe Jørger Jensen told TV2 that her son was filming a video for his YouTube channel in the Italian Alps, when he fell 656 feet from the mountain on Wednesday (July 28), via Newsweek.

He reportedly fell from Mount Seceda in Val Gardena, via Rai. A helicopter was called to the area, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.

“We are in great grief, but I would like his fans to know,” his mother said, in addition to requesting privacy for the family.

The YouTube star, who joined in early 2016, was known for comedy sketches and music videos. He amassed nearly hundreds of thousands of followers on YouTube and Instagram, and starred in 2018′s Team Albert.
