Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine Has Been Sold for Nearly $1 Billion

Reese Witherspoon‘s company, Hello Sunshine, is being sold for a huge amount of money.

The company is being sold to former Disney executives Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs‘s new company, which doesn’t yet have a name but has the financial backing of Blackstone.

According to the website, Hello Sunshine “is a media company that puts women at the center of every story we create, celebrate and discover.”

The company sold for north of $900 million, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Reese and Sarah Harden, the company’s CEO, will continue as board members and oversee day-to-day operations.

If you don’t know, Hello Sunshine is behind hits including HBO’s Big Little Lies, Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, and Apple TV+’s The Morning Show.
