During a press conference with White House reporters, President Biden agreed that Cuomo should step down from his role as governor.

“I think he should resign,” Biden said Tuesday, after he delivered an update on the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The statement follows the President’s earlier comments as he was asked what should happen if the allegations against him proved to be true.

“What I said was if the investigation of the attorney general concluded that the allegations are correct, back in March, that I would recommend that he resign,” he added. “That is what I am doing today. I have not read the report. I don’t know the detail of it. All I know is the end result.”
