The 2020 Tokyo Olympics have officially closed!

On Sunday (August 8), the summer games ended with all the countries getting together again for an amazing closing ceremony in Tokyo, Japan.

Now that the games are over, we have compiled a list of the top five countries that took home the most medals.

In the end, Olympians from the United States took home the most medals out of all the other countries that competed!

The 2022 Winter Olympics are just a few months away, and will take place in Beijing, China.
