Jason Momoa Reveals His Feelings About His Children Going Into Acting

Jason Momoa is surrounded by performers in his blended family, but that doesn’t mean he wants his own children following in the family business.

The 42-year-old Aquaman star is opening up about how he’s hesitant to think about his two kids, daughter Lola and son Nakoa-Wolf, whom he shares with wife Lisa Bonet, going into show business.

Jason admitted in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight that one of his children is actually thinking about it, too.

“I’m not a fan,” he truthfully admits. “I don’t want them to.”

Jason went on, confessing he was hesitant to encourage their ambition.

“I don’t know. I’ll try my damnedest to keep ‘em out of it,” he shared. “I love storytelling, I love theatrical things, I like directing and filmmaking, but I just want them to, you know, really to go for other things.”

Jason added, “If they [really] want to, maybe, but I don’t want them to get into acting. It’s very hard on people and I don’t want them to have that pressure. I’m tough, I can handle it, but I wouldn’t want to put someone I love [through] that.”

Earlier this week, Jason weighed in on the whole showering debate.
