YNT Juan Dead - Rising Rapper Dies at 17

YNT Juan has sadly died.

The rising rap star, born Juan Bautista Garcia, was found shot dead in a parked car on Sunday (August 8) in Hartford, Conn., local news outlets confirmed.

The performer was 17 years old. Police are now investigating the shooting.

Prior to his death, he released a remix of Kanye West‘s “Power,” which has garnered over 18,000 views since being posted on August 3.

Fans and friends have been posting tributes to the star in the comments section on his Instagram, where he amassed a following of over 26,000 people.

“He never went live on his Instagram to talk about drama, he only went on there to support his friends or promote his music…[he] didn’t even get to graduate school yet.” his childhood friend Janine told the Hartford Courant.
