Billy Zane Replaces Mickey Rourke as Villain in Peacock's 'MacGruber' Series

Billy Zane has joined the cast of the MacGruber series!

It has been announced that the 55-year-old Titanic actor has signed on to replace Mickey Rourke in the upcoming series head to Peacock, TV Line reports.

Mickey originally joined the series back in June as the show’s lead villain Brigadier Commander Enos Queeth, who has resurfaced to carry out a plot to destroy the world. Billy will now be playing the role.

It has unclear why Mickey is leaving the show.

Will Forte will be reprising his role as MacGruber in the series, while is based on Saturday Night Live‘s parody of MacGyver, and was later was turned into a 2010 feature film of the same name.

Kristin Wiig and Ryan Phllippe will also be returning to the show, reprising their roles as Vicki St. Elmo and Dixon Piper, respectively. Thomas V. Murphy will be reprising his movie role as henchman Constantine Bach in the show.

A few months ago, it was announced Peacock is turning this other movie into a TV show.
