Larry David Reacts to Being Disinvited from Obama's 60th Birthday Party

Larry David is sharing his initial reaction to being disinvited to former President Barack Obama‘s 60th birthday party.

If you didn’t know, the guest list for Obama‘s 60th birthday party last weekend had to get cut down amid the resurgence of COVID-19 cases.

Because of that, several A-list stars that were previously invited to Obama‘s party got a call days before the party telling them that they were no longer invited. Larry was one of those people.

“I was pretty glum when I finally called back his assistant,” Larry shared with The New York Times.

However, Larry admitted that he was actually happy to get disinvited, because he thought he would have to perform at the party and he was all stressed out trying to come up with a comedy routine.

“When he told me I was eighty-sixed from the party, I was so relieved I screamed, ‘Thank you! Thank you!’” Larry added. “He must have thought I was insane. Then I hung up the phone, poured myself a drink and finished my crossword puzzle.”

You can find out which other stars also reportedly got disinvited to Obama‘s party here.
