Kit Harington Admits He Had to Google 'Eternals' Character After Getting Cast

Kit Harington is opening up about his upcoming Marvel movie!

During a recent interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 34-year-old Game of Thrones alum confessed he didn’t know much about his character Dane Whitman aka The Black Knight after getting cast in Eternals.

“I didn’t get sent a script. I just got sent, ‘This is who you’re playing.’” Kit recalled. “So I was like, ‘Okay.’ So I just had to Google the character. This is you know, a hell of a way to kind of work out who you’re playing.”

After doing some research, Kit realized his Eternals character is a lot like his Game of Thrones character Jon Snow.

“I Googled him. He’s a character called Dane Whitman, and I realized he has a sword and rides a horse,” Kit continued. “And I was like, ‘I know this guy. I’ve been this guy.’”

Also in the cast of Eternals are Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, and Barry Keoghan. The movie will hit theaters on November 5. Check out the trailer!
