Emma Corrin Belts Out 'Phantom Of The Opera' Song In Cut Scene From 'The Crown' - Watch!

There was much talk about a cut scene from Netflix’s The Crown, where Emma Corrin performs “All I Ask Of You” from The Phantom of the Opera.

The streaming service has finally released the clip, which reveals Emma‘s vocal chops in the scene.

The scene was based on rumors that Princess Diana had taped herself performing the iconic song at the West End as a seventh wedding anniversary gift for her then husband, Prince Charles.

Emma and Josh O’Connor both opened up about the scene in recent interviews.

Josh said that “in reality, what Emma did in that scene is amazing. The [crew] were like, ‘Do you want to see it before [you film]? and I was like, ‘Maybe not, because I’m not really into that, I would rather react in the moment.’ But then the director was like ‘Emma is quite f***ing great in it!’ — sorry, I shouldn’t swear — but it was like ‘Emma is really good in it!’ so I sat down and watched.”

He added that her “singing is amazing! But then I had to be that prat!”

It was rumored that Charles was less impressed with Diana‘s performance.

“If my partner did that for my birthday, I would be in tears and so grateful. It was really hard to go from that, to acting like ‘What an idiot!’”
