Brooke Shields Get Emotional Dropping Daughter Rowan Off at College

It’s a big day for Brooke Shields‘ daughter!

On Saturday (August 21), the 56-year-old actress shared an emotional post dropping her daughter Rowan off at her freshman year of college.

“My unique and extraordinary baby girl spreading her wings. I love you so. We are so proud of you,” Brooke wrote on Instagram along with a few photos of herself, husband Chris Henchy, and 15-year-old daughter Grier helping Rowan, 18, move into her college dorm.

Along with the photos, Brooke also shared a video of her teary-eyed drive home after leaving Rowan at school.

“This was the saddest drive away from anywhere I’ve ever had to make. But my baby is BEGINNING one of the most important adventures of her life to date…NOW!” Brooke added.

A few months ago, Rowan wore Brooke‘s 1998 Golden Globes dress to her prom!
