There's a Theory About Who Is Replacing Samantha in 'Sex & the City' Revival & It's All Because of This Photo!

There’s a big fan theory going around that Samantha from Sex and the City (played by Kim Cattrall in the original series and subsequent movies) has been officially replaced for HBO Max’s revival, And Just Like That!

A photo that Sarah Jessica Parker posted has starting some rumblings that one newcomer to the series will actually take the place of Samantha in the friend group consisting of Carrie (SJP), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis).

Sarah Jessica Parker‘s photo featured her, Cynthia, Kristin, and newcomer Nicole Ari Parker. Fans began wondering if Nicole‘s character would be replacing the iconic role of Samantha. HBO Max would not officially confirm this news, but they did tell CNN in an article posted on Monday (August 23), “Nicole Ari Parker plays ‘Lisa Todd Wexley,’ a Park Avenue mother of three and documentarian.”

Kim has not spoken publicly about the revival series at HBO Max, but did subtly acknowledge the series a few months ago.
