According to the streamer, the limited series had more viewers both on premiere day and five days after the premiere than any other show including all dramas, comedies, limited series and unscripted shows, Deadline reports. The previous record holder was The Handmaid’s Tale season four finale.
The eight-episode series stars Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto. The first three episodes will debut on August 18 on Hulu with the remaining episodes debuting weekly after that.
