Tom Hardy's 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' Might Move Release Dates Again to 2022

There are rumblings that Venom 2 aka Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Tom Hardy‘s second film as Venom/Eddie Brock, is going to be moving release dates again.

The film has been delayed so many times due to COVID-19. It was originally supposed to be released in 2020. It eventually landed on a September 24, 2021 release date. A few weeks ago, Sony moved the film to mid-October 2021.

Now, there’s a new report that the movie could be moving again.

There is talk that the movie will now move to January 21, 2022 due to fears about the Delta variant making movie-goers hesitant to return to crowded theaters. Vulture reports that producers may make the announcement at CinemaCon, which is currently taking place.

Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and more.
