Ron Jeremy Indicted on Over 30 Sexual Assault Counts Involving 21 Victims

Ron Jeremy has been indicted.

The 68-year-old former adult movie star and filmmaker was indicted on 33 rape and sexual assault counts involving 21 victims across the past two decades, THR and Deadline reported Wednesday (August 25).

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirmed the indictment, following the criminal complaint last year. A grand jury returned the indictment after considering all the accusations from the charges last year. The age range of the alleged victims goes from 15 to 51.

He’s also remained in jail since being arrested last summer on $6.6 million bail.

Ron Jeremy pled not guilty to 12 counts of forcible rape, seven counts of forcible oral copulation, six counts of sexual battery by restraint, four counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object, two counts of sexual penetration of an unconscious or asleep person and one count each of lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 or 15, sodomy by use of force and assault with intent to commit rape, via the district attorney’s office.

“Far too often, survivors of sexual assault suffer in isolation. We must ensure that survivors have all options available to help with recovery, including trauma-informed services for healing and support to report such crimes,” said District Attorney George Gascón.

He is scheduled to return to court on October 12 for a pretrial conference. If convicted, he faces more than 300 years in prison.

“I am innocent of all charges. I can’t wait to prove my innocence in court! Thank you to everyone for all the support,” a message posted to his Twitter account last year reads.
