Sydney Sweeney Tells Funny Story About What Happened at ‘The Voyeurs’ Premiere!

Sydney Sweeney poses for a photo with co-star Justice Smith at the premiere of their new Amazon Prime Video movie The Voyeurs on Tuesday (August 24) at NeueHouse in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance at the event were co-stars Ben Hardy, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Katharine King So, as well as writer and director Michael Mohan.

Here’s a synopsis of the movie, which premieres on September 10: When Pippa (Sweeney) and Thomas (Smith) move into their dream apartment, they notice that their windows look directly into the apartment opposite – inviting them to witness the volatile relationship of the attractive couple (Hardy, Bordizzo) across the street. But when they attempt to anonymously intercede in their lives, they unwittingly set in motion a chain of events that will lead to disaster.

Sydney‘s grandmothers were extras in the movie and they attended the premiere, which meant they were present to watch her intimate moments on the big screen.

“Yeah, it’s probably not the most grandma-friendly movie to watch,” Sydney told Variety. “But then my grandma also thought it would be great to bring her son – my uncle. I couldn’t say no. So it’s my uncle, my aunt, my two grandmas, my mom and a couple of friends who are here. I did tell them there are going to be some moments where you have to cover your eyes and ears. They did. Actually, my Nana sat there going, ‘Whoa!’”

It was reported that at one point during the movie, Justice was heard yelling, “Don’t watch, mom!”

FYI: Sydney is wearing a Dior dress. Ben is wearing Saint Laurent.
