Eric Stonestreet Teases Critics Saying He's 'Too Old' to Be Engaged to Lindsay Schweitzer

Eric Stonestreet is having some fun with the trolls!

Over the weekend, the 49-year-old Modern Family actor announced his engagement to girlfriend Lindsay Schweitzer.

After sharing photos of he and the 41-year-old pediatric nurse while showing off her engagement ring, trolls took to the comments to say that he’s “too old” for her.

On Wednesday (August 25), Eric decided to poke some fun at the critics.

“Apparently a lot of people think I look too old, as a 49 year old man, to be engaged to my almost 42 year old fiancée,” Eric wrote on Instagram, along with edited photos of Lindsay looking a lot older.

“Look, she can’t help that she looks so great at 42 and I can’t help that I apparently look like her grandad so, I fixed it for everyone,” Eric added, along with the hashtags, “#engaged #love #engagedlife 💍#herlifeforever #imfunny #shesaidyestothis”
