Lakeith Stanfield to Star in TV Adaption of 'The Changeling' for Apple

Lakeith Stanfield is teaming up with Apple for a new show!

The 30-year-old Judas and the Black Messiah actor will star in the TV adaption of Victor LaValle‘s novel The Changeling.

According to Variety, the show is described as “a fairytale for grown-ups. It is further described as a horror story, a parenthood fable, and a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed.”

Along with starring in The Changeling, Lakeith will also be serving as an executive producer.

Cruella screenwriter Kelly Marcel will be writing the adaptation while also serving as executive producer and showrunner. Queen and Slim director Melina Matsoukas will direct and executive produce the series.
