“At the time I wasn’t starstruck by any of those people,” Daniel shared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert about his famous Harry Potter co-stars that included Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, and Kenneth Branagh.

“The first person I remember being starstruck by was Gary Oldman,” Daniel then revealed. “Because that was the age when I was aware of who he was and his work and also getting more serious about acting myself.”

Gary first joined the Harry Potter franchise for the third movie, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, as Sirius Black. Daniel was 15 when the movie was released in 2004.

“So, yeah, before that when you meet someone as a 9-year-old it’s sort of hard to like, gain starstruckness of them later on,” Daniel added.

If you missed it, Daniel Radcliffe recently opened up about his future with Harry Potter.
