KISS Postpones Tour After Gene Simmons Tests Positive for COVID-19

KISS has postponed more shows on their End of the World Tour after another band member tested positive for coronavirus.

Last week, the glam rock band had to postpone their Thursday night (August 26) concert at the last minute after band member Paul Stanley tested positive for the virus.

Now, on Tuesday (August 31), the band has announced that Gene Simmons has also tested positive for COVID.

“KISS will postpone their next four tour dates. While Paul Stanley recently tweeted that he has recovered from COVID, Gene Simmons has now tested positive and is experiencing mild symptoms,” the band tweeted.

“The band and crew will remain at home and isolate for the next 10 days and doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA,” the statement continued, while revealing the next four tour stops they’re postponing.

When KISS announced last week that Paul had tested positive for COVID, they also revealed that everyone on their End of the World Tour, including band and crew members, is fully vaccinated.

We wish Gene Simmons a speedy recovery.
