'Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City' Drops First Look at Leon, Claire & a Terrifying Monster

Sony has released a first look at Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City!

The new photos give fans a sneak peek at the settings and characters for the movie, including the live-action debut of Lisa Trevor, the fan-favorite monster from the 2002 remake of the original Resident Evil.

Director Johannes Roberts has stated that the reboot will be a more faithful adaptation of the original source material, featuring the same dark atmosphere and dread that the videos were known for.

Avan Jogia and Kaya Scodelario will play Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2, alongside Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield and Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker.

The film is set to be released in theaters on November 24, 2021.
