'Blue's Clues' Steve Burns Gives Stephen Colbert A Hug After Going Viral

Steve Burns is continuing to spread the love.

The former host of Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues stopped by for a quick appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert after his video addressing millennial fans of the show went viral.

While speaking about the video, Stephen was surprised to see Steve pop up on the stage.

“Although I was aware of the show because of my kids, those kids are all grown up and moved away now,” Stephen shared with the audience during his replay of the video. “So, obviously I have no emotional investment in Steve.”

“What are you doing here?” he asked after catching Steve on stage, who responded that he just wanted to check in and see if he was OK.

“I just came by, I wanted to see if you were OK,” Steve said. “I mean, you — you seem kind of upset and I just wanted to know if maybe wanted a hug. I mean, that’s what friends do, right?”
