Actress Tanya Fear Had Been Found – Read Her Family’s Statement

Tanya Fear has been found, a few days after she was first reported missing by her family and friends.

The former Doctor Who actress went missing in Los Angeles near the Hollywood Bowl area. She recently moved there to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.

Tanya‘s friends said that she hadn’t been seen since September 9 and they asked the public for help looking for her.

Authorities said that Tanya was found safe on Monday afternoon (September 13) and that no foul play was involved, so the case was closed, according to THR.

Tanya‘s family released a statement on Twitter shortly after the news was announced.

“Hi Everyone. Our family is overjoyed and relieved to confirm that Tanya has been found. A family friend is currently with her,” the statement read. “As a family and members of Tanya’s circle we would love to thank the LA community for their active efforts on the ground looking for her. To the global community we want to thank you for sharing her image, posters and story. Together we have our girl back. Thank you.”
