Cara Delevingne's Met Gala 2021 Look Says 'Peg the Patriarchy,' She Explains What That Means to Her

Cara Delevingne is wearing a message on her outfit at the 2021 Met Gala on Monday (September 13) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

The 29-year-old model and actress’ top read “Peg the Patriarchy,” and Cara would not explain literally what it meant, she did explain what that phrase means to her. We at Just Jared suggest Googling the term if you’re unfamiliar!

“Peg the patriarchy. It’s about women empowerment, gender equality. It’s a bit like, stick it to the man,” Cara said on the red carpet during the live stream.

If you missed it, find out the mask and vaccine requirements for every single celeb attendee at the Met Gala this year.

FYI: Cara is wearing Dior.
