Drew Barrymore & Jennifer Aniston React to Debate About Who's the Better On-Screen Love Interest for Adam Sandler

Drew Barrymore and Jennifer Aniston are settling the debate about which one of them is the better onscreen love interest for Adam Sandler!

It all started on social media last June when one fan tweeted, “Name a better duo in a movie than Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. I’ll wait.”

Drew‘s name started trending after some fans felt that she wasn’t getting enough love for her movies with Adam.

The pair starred opposite each other in the 1998 film The Wedding Singer, the 2004 rom-com 50 First Dates and their latest movie, Blended. Jennifer and Adam worked together on Just Go With It and Murder Mystery.

In an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show on Monday (September 13), Drew and Jennifer shared their thoughts on the viral debate.

“Okay, so there was this Twitter debate that happened about who is a better partner for Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston or Drew Barrymore? Which sounds weird to say my name,” Drew said.

“And what I loved that came out of that was that you and I chose each other,” she continued.

“Oh well that’s a no brainer,” Jennifer replied. “There’s the phrase the guys like to say bros before hoes.”

“Oh my God I was going to say hoes before bros,” Drew exclaimed.

She added, “And that is sisterhood. And we have had that and you have that with your friends and we just celebrate that and I loved that that was the true answer.”

During the interview, Jennifer also shared why playing her character Alex on The Morning Show was so meaningful to her.

“It was basically about just revisiting some of the shadows, blind spots that I put into a particular file and meeting them head on and actually releasing them,” she recalled.

“It was like an extraordinary therapy, better than any actual therapist that I’ve been going to for years on end.”
