Lady Gaga's Dog Walker Ryan Fischer Reveals Everything She's Done for Him After the Attack

Ryan Fischer, the former dog walker of Lady Gaga, is opening up about everything the entertainer has done for him after he was attacked while walking her beloved dogs.

In a new interview for CBS Mornings, Ryan sat down with Gayle King and discussed the night he was shot and he also addressed the backlash that Gaga received after he set up a GoFundMe page.

Many people online wondered why Ryan was looking to the public for money to support his healing journey when Gaga is worth millions.

“She’s helped me so much,” Ryan said. “She’s been a friend for me and after I was attacked, my family was flown out. I had trauma therapists flown out to me, and I stayed at her house for months while friends comforted me and security was around me.”

He added, “LG’s very supportive of my journey right now. I think it’s hard for people to understand why someone would go about healing in this way.” For those who don’t know, Ryan plans on continuing his healing journey on a cross-country RV trip, where he will visit retreat centers and trauma programs.

Gayle‘s co-anchor Nate Burleson asked why Gaga wouldn’t pay for the trip herself.

Gayle said, “This is the thing, Nate — she’s paid for all of his medical bills, he lived in her house, she has trauma therapists. He doesn’t want it. That’s the bottom line. He doesn’t want it. He wants to go on this journey. He wants to do it himself. The last thing he wants is for people to feel Gaga’s let him down because she’s still supporting him in any way he needs. This is what he wants to do.”
