Gerard Butler Meets Puerto Rico's Governor During Break From Filming 'The Plane' Movie
Gerard Butler looks pretty good as a pilot as he attends a tiny press conference for his new film, The Plane, at the airport in Puerto Rico.
The 51-year-old actor had some downtime in between shooting a few scenes and was seen meeting the Governor of the island, Pedro Pierluisi, and his wife.
The Plane will center on Ray Torrance (Butler), a commercial pilot who has just heroically landed a storm-damaged aircraft in hostile territory, subsequently finding himself threatened by militant pirates who are planning to take the plane and its passengers hostage.
As the world’s authorities and media search for the disappeared aircraft, Torrance must rise to the occasion and keep his passengers safe long enough for help to arrive.
The Plane will be directed by Jean-François Richet, and based on the book from Charles Cumming.
