Seth Rogen Mispronounced Hannah Waddingham's Name at the Emmy Awards 2021 & She Had A Perfect Reaction To It

Hannah Waddingham was so happy and shocked about winning her first award at the 2021 Emmy Awards over the weekend, that she didn’t even hear Seth Rogen mispronounce her name.

While presenting the night’s first award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Seth actually pronounced the Ted Lasso actress’s last name as “Waddington.”

Backstage, Hannah was made aware of the mispronunciation and joked about it with reporters.

“I didn’t hear that. It’s brand new information,” she told the room.

Brett Goldstein, Hannah‘s co-star who also won for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, added, “He’s dead.”

“Oh man,” she replied. “I’ll have to call him Seth Ragin.”

The mistake is reminiscent of John Travolta mispronouncing Idina Menzel‘s name at the Oscars.
