Willie Garson Dead - 'Sex & The City' Stanford Blatch Star Dies at 57

Willie Garson has sadly died.

The actor, best known for his role as Stanford Blatch in the Sex and the City show and movies, passed away according to close friends and family, via TMZ on Tuesday (September 21).

Titus Welliver shared a post, writing: “There are no words. I love you dear brother. We are fewer.” Actor Rob Morrow also shared a tribute.

Sources told TMZ he was battling cancer, although that is not yet confirmed as the cause of his death.

Willie appeared in over 27 episodes of the show, as well as in both movies. He was set to appear in the upcoming reboot project And Just Like That, and had already shot scenes alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Mario Cantone.

In addition, he also starred in shows like White Collar, Hawaii Five-0, Quantum Leap, Girl Meets World, Just Shoot Me!, Big Mouth and Supergirl since debuting in the acting world in the ’80s.

Our thoughts are with Willie Garson‘s loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.

We have sadly lost many stars in 2021.
