The Electrical Life of Louis Wain is coming!

The forthcoming film will be released theatrically on October 22, and on Amazon Prime Video on November 5. It will debut in other territories early in 2022.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars in the movie as forgotten British artist Louis Wain in “the extraordinary true story of a brilliant but troubled soul, whose fascination with the mysteries of the world is both complicated and deepened when he meets the love of his life Emily,” played by Claire Foy.

The movie first premiered at Telluride Film Festival earlier in the month, followed by a TIFF premiere.

The movie is directed by Flowers BAFTA winner Will Sharpe (Flowers).
