Throughout the season, Drew Tarver‘s character Cary has been working towards his goal of being in a movie and he finally lands a high-profile movie job that is about to begin filming.
In the final joke of the season, the fate of Cary’s movie seems to be doomed.
We see a newsclip from “The Gay Minute” with Cary’s friend Curtis taking over for him as the new host.
“Hey everybody and welcome to The Gay Minute, sponsored by Advil. I’m your brand-new host, Curtis Paltrow, taking over for Cary Dubek, who’s about to start shooting his first movie, Night Nurse. Cary, it has been a long, hard road, but you never gave up and it’s all gonna finally pay off for you tomorrow, March 13, 2020,” he says.
It seems likely that Night Nurse won’t end up filming as everything shut down by March 13 due to the pandemic.
The Other Two hasn’t been renewed for a third season yet, but Sarah opened up to AV Club about what might happen.
“Cary could finish his movie or not. We liked leaving it open-ended. If we’re lucky enough to come back, we want there to be a major change within the show, either between the characters’ dynamics or what they’re doing. It allows us to tell new stories while staying in our world,” she said.
DO YOU WANT a third season to happen?!
