The Weeknd Honored by Black Music Action Coalition at Music in Action Awards 2021

The Weeknd is the recipient of a major award!

The 31-year-old “Blinding Lights” entertainer was honored at the 2021 Music in Action Awards hosted by The Black Music Action Coalition on Thursday evening (September 23) at 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

During the event, The Weeknd and H.E.R. were honored with the Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award.

“The Weeknd and H.E.R. have both used their platforms to call attention to racial and social injustice and raise awareness globally,” the BMAC said in a statement via Variety.

It was recently revealed that The Weeknd just bought a new home in Los Angeles for $70 million – and we have tons of photos of his new place!
