Sophia Bush Raves About Being Engaged to Grant Hughes
Sophia Bush is loving the engaged life!
On Saturday (October 3), the 39-year-old One Tree Hill actress and fiance Grant Hughes made their first public appearance as an engaged couple at the 2021 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
While attending the event, Sophia raved about being engaged to Grant.

“It’s funny. I think when you’re an adult and you understand what mental health is and you know all of the things we have learned, as individuals, you always hear that marriage is work and it’s the best job you’ll ever have, but it requires effort,” Sophia shared in an interview with People.
“And we got engaged and I looked around and said, ‘Why didn’t anyone tell me how sweet and pure this would be?’” Sophia added. “It’s just so sweet and it’s a time that I’m very intentionally cherishing. And you know, more adventures on the horizon.”
Sophia and Grant got engaged during a romantic Italian getaway back in August. The couple has been together for over a year.
