The movie in question that Amal is not allowed to see if actually Joel Schumacher’s infamous 1997 film Batman & Robin, where George played Batman opposite Chris O’Donnell‘s Robin and Alicia Silverstone‘s Batgirl.

It started during an interview with Variety where George was asked if his version of Batman would be featured in the upcoming The Flash movie alongside fellow Batmen Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck.

“When you destroy a franchise the way I did, usually they look the other way when ‘The Flash’ comes by,” George responded.

“He won’t let me watch it,” Amal chimed in.

George added, “There are certain films I just go, ‘I want my wife to have some respect for me.’”
