Bobby Flay & Food Network Are Parting Ways After Almost Three Decades Together

Bobby Flay and Food Network are breaking up.

The 56-year-old chef and the television network are parting ways, according to a report from Variety.

Bobby and Food Network have had a partnership that spans for 27 years and the site says that the two had been in the middle of negotiations on a new contract for some time. His most recent three-year deal will expire at the end of the year.

While no comments were made on the decision to part ways, fans are feeling the shock of the news.

Bobby has been part of Food Network’s programming since 1994, which was the first year Food Network was on.

Since then, he’s been featured in many shows, including his own, Beat Bobby Flay, Brunch at Bobby’s, and Grillin’ and Chillin’.

Bobby has also been featured on Chopped, Iron Chef America, Worst Cooks in America, The Best Thing I Ever Ate and The Next Food Network Star.

Earlier this year, Food Network also lost another of its’ stars. However, it was for another, sad reason.
