Anthony Anderson Dishes On A Possible Return To 'Law & Order' After Revival Announcement

Anthony Anderson is weighing in on the return of Law & Order.

If you’re unfamiliar, the 51-year-old actor starred as Detective Kevin Bernard, who had started out as an Internal Affairs Detective, before joining Cyrus Lupo as Junior Partner in the 18th, 19th and 20th seasons of the long-running series.

Now, with the announcement of a revival of the flagship show, Anthony opened up about a possible return.

NBC made the announcement last month, with Dick Wolf saying that “there are very few things in life that are literally dreams come true. This is mine.”

He then told Variety that “we just want to continue telling great stories. Casting as always will be three cops and three D.A.s.”

Anthony then revealed that there have been conversations about a return.

“I did have a conversation with [‘Law & Order’ creator] Dick Wolf. I will just say that,” he shared. “So, we’ll see what the future holds.”

Anthony currently stars on ABC’s Black-ish, which is in its final season.
