Alyson Hannigan's Home Used For Filming Location on 'This Is Us'

Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof own a very desirable home, it seems.

The couple’s home has not only been featured in Fracture, and an episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, as well as 2016 Super Bowl commercial, but also for This Is Us!

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Michelle Collins Show this week, Alyson opened up about why she finally said yes for the show to film there, after rejecting many others.

“The people we bought our house from, I don’t know if they ever lived here. I think they just rented it out for film shoots. I think my house’s resume is longer than mine,” she shared. “When we moved in we were like, ‘We will never do that, we know what productions do to locations’ and all that.”

Alyson adds that she and Alexis get requests to film there “at least twice a month” because “the house is just known.” The reason they said yes was because the director was her neighbor.

The couple moved into the property in 2018.

Alyson also revealed on the program that the show even did a little restoration for her.

“Not only did they give us our house back in wonderful shape, they fixed things that I had damaged,” she said, sharing that they touched up paint, offered to clean up where one of her daughters left a handprint on the wall, and more.

“They fixed damage that I had done. We’ve got a lot of wood or whatever [and] you can’t tape anything to it or it takes some of the stain off and I didn’t know that on my first Halloween and I taped to this beautiful door. I forever see like little tape marks. No, they fixed that too! I was like ‘You guys!’”

This Is Us is set to return for a final season on NBC early next year.
