Ana de Armas Talks About Getting Kicked Out of Acting School

Ana de Armas is now a huge star, but it doesn’t seem her acting school was very pleased with her early success as an actress!

The 33-year-old No Time to Die actress talked about her school days during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday (October 8) in New York City.

Ana said that she landed an acting role during her second year at school and she was kicked out of school because of it.

“I went to drama school when I was fourteen. That was like four years of theater school,” Ana said. “And when I was on my second year, I did my first movie. I auditioned for it and I got it, and the teachers were not very happy, and they told me if I did the movie I was going to get kicked out of school.”

Ana said she did do the movie and she had to repeat the year of school, but it was “worth it.”
