Dwayne Johnson Reveals If He Regrets Vin Diesel Feud & If He Really Meant What He Said

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is getting real about that public feud he had with Vin Diesel.

If you don’t know, The Rock joined the Fast & the Furious franchise back in 2011 with Fast Five. Tension began arising on set in 2016, and actually culminated with Dwayne posting a message on Instagram directed at one of his “candy ass” male co-stars, later revealed to be Vin. Dwayne‘s 2016 Instagram message has since been deleted, but we have the full text right here for you to read!

“Nothing specific happened, just the same old s**t. It caused a firestorm. Yet interestingly enough…[it was] as if every single crew member found their way to me and either quietly thanked me or sent me a note. But, yeah, it wasn’t my best day, sharing that. I shouldn’t have shared that. Because at the end of the day, that goes against my DNA. I don’t share things like that. And I take care of that kind of bulls**t away from the public. They don’t need to know that,” The Rock told Vanity Fair.

He then was asked about the meeting where they hashed things out. “I wouldn’t call it a peaceful meeting. I would call it a meeting of clarity. He and I had a good chat in my trailer, and it was out of that chat that it really became just crystal clear that we are two separate ends of the spectrum. And agreed to leave it there.”

He then said, “I meant what I said. For sure. I mean what I say when I say it. But to express it publicly was not the right thing to do.”
