If you don’t know, back when the show was airing, Lea‘s Glee character Rachel Berry starred in a revival of Funny Girl and has also been known that Ryan Murphy obtained the rights to produce a real-life production of the classic musical on Broadway. Lea once commented on the reports that she would be starring in Ryan‘s production.

This week, Andy Cohen had Beanie on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen and asked her about the Twitter trend.

Andy asked, “I mean, by the way you got that part and Lea Michele started trending on Twitter because everyone knew that she wanted the part. Have you, like, has there been any correspondence between you guys yet? There will be at some point.”

Beanie responded, “I don’t even know that any of this was happening by the way. And all of a sudden people started explaining it to me and I was like, ‘wait, what?’ I don’t, I don’t even under, like, I don’t follow any, I don’t understand. I didn’t understand. But, she very sweetly wrote on my Instagram. I don’t know the woman whatsoever.”

Lea did eventually react to Beanie‘s casting news.
