Katy Perry Will Guest Host 'Ellen' on Her Birthday!

Katy Perry is taking on a special guest host role.

The 36-year-old Smile superstar is set to take over as host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show later this month, via Headline Planet.

According to the latest listing, she will be guest hosting the October 25 episode, and the show appears to be American Idol themed: Luke Bryan will appear for an interview, and previous contestant Michael J. Woodard will return for a musical performance.

October 25 also happens to be Katy Perry‘s birthday!

There will also be a conversation with a young guest who won a kindness contest.
