Star Trek's George Takei Disses Former Co-Star William Shatner Over His Trip to Space

George Takei is sharing his thoughts on former Star Trek co-star William Shatner‘s trip to space… and let’s just say he’s not impressed.

The two actors have famously feuded over the years and it seems the feud will continue.

Shatner became the oldest person to ever go to space on Wednesday (October 13) when he traveled on the Blue Origin launch at the age of 90.

Takei dissed Shatner while talking about the space flight in an interview with Page Six.

“He’s boldly going where other people have gone before,” George said.

“He’s a guinea pig, 90 years old and it’s important to find out what happens,” he added. “So 90 years old is going to show a great deal more on the wear and tear on the human body, so he’ll be a good specimen to study. Although he’s not the fittest specimen of 90 years old, so he’ll be a specimen that’s unfit!”

In a recent interview, William Shatner revealed why he had decided to go to space.
