Jamie Lee Curtis Will Reunite With Ryan Murphy On New Limited Series For Netflix

Jamie Lee Curtis has lined up a new role, and will reunite for Ryan Murphy for it!
According to Deadline, the 62-year-old actress revealed that she’ll star in a new Netflix limited series tentatively titled Outfielder.
“Ryan is producing a project I’ve been trying to get made as a producer for over ten years. I’ve had the rights to a project of the life of the man who invented the High Five,” Jamie shared on the Hero Nation podcast.
Deadline does write that there are no deals in place yet, and series is in an early conversation phase.
Outfielder would center around the 19-year old Los Angeles Dodger Glenn Burke, who on Oct. 2, 1977, and delivered the first recorded high five.
That’s when Dusty Baker hit his 30th home run during the last game of the regular season, landing himself in a group of three other Dodgers who had also hit 30 home runs.
The high five event has also been documented in ESPN’s 30 for 30 docu short The High Five that was directed by Michael Jacobs.
Jamie previously worked with Ryan on Scream Queens, which ran for two seasons from 2015-2016.
If you missed it, earlier this week, Jamie dressed up as a truly iconic character for the Halloween Kills costume premiere!
