Kourtney Kardashian's Engagement Ring Designer Spills Details on Travis Barker's Involvement in Process

Kourtney Kardashian got engaged over the weekend to boyfriend Travis Barker and the designer of her engagement ring is spilling some new details!

The ring was designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz, who also designed the engagement rings from Kim Kardashian‘s ex-husbands Kris Humphries and Kanye West.

Lorraine opened up to People about working with Travis to design the ring.

“It’s a flawless, beautifully cut diamond stone,” she said. “I worked on it with Travis and he was a really big part of it. He was really hands-on in the whole making of it. It’s gorgeous and they’re happy.”

A source also opened up to the outlet about the proposal.

“It was a complete surprise for Kourtney. Travis told her family that he planned to propose, but everyone was great at keeping it secret,” a source said. “The Rosewood is their favorite for short weekend getaways. They often stay at the hotel. This is why Travis proposed there. It’s a very special place to them, but it was also easier to keep everything a secret by proposing there.”
