Sarah Snook Reveals She Married Her 'Best Mate' During COVID-19 Lockdown

Sarah Snook is married!

In an interview with Vogue Australia, the 33-year-old Succession star revealed that she had quietly married her best friend, comedian Dave Lawson, in February after they were locked down together due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I got locked down in Melbourne with one of my best mates and we fell in love,” she told the magazine.

“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic,” she explained, adding that the pair had “never been single at the same time.”

Sarah went on to say that she proposed on Halloween last year and they were married in February in an intimate ceremony in her backyard. Her fellow Succession castmate Ash Zuckerman acted as witness at the event.

The actress also shared she opted for a more unconventional wedding look, pairing a vintage velvet Chloe coat with a pair of matching Blundstone boots.

“We had matching Blunnies,” she said.
