Brandon Lee's Family Reacts to Tragic Accident on Alec Baldwin's Movie Set After His Name Trends Online
The family of late actor Brandon Lee is speaking out after the tragic accident that occurred on the set of Alec Baldwin‘s movie Rust.
If you haven’t heard yet, a prop gun that Alec was handling misfired and tragically killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and seriously injured director Joel Souza.
Brandon, the son of the late action star Bruce Lee, was killed on the set of The Crow in 1993 after an actor fired a gun that he believed to be loaded with blanks. The actor shot from a distance of 15-20 feet and hit Lee in his abdomen. It was later discovered that the tip of a dummy cartridge was lodged in the gun and fired at the actor along with the blank.

Reminder that the actor who portrayed Funboy in The Crow, and who accidentally killed Brandon Lee, was so shaken he left acting for a year after the film. https://t.co/rWotq0j4hD

I’m obsessed with THE CROW and understand that actor Michael Massee was never the same after Brandon Lee’s tragic accident. My heart goes out to RUST DP Halyna Hutchins’ family & friends & I pray that Alec Baldwin is able to find peace one day, as it’s a heavy thing to live with.
