Ireland Baldwin Slams Candace Owens Over 'Hateful' Comments About Dad Alec Baldwin's Movie Shooting

Ireland Baldwin and Candace Owens got into a heated exchange of words on social media.

The 26-year-old model took to her Instagram Story on Monday (October 25) to call out the 32-year-old conservative talk show host after she mocked Ireland‘s dad Alec Baldwin over the accidental shooting on set of his movie Rust that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

“You are the most disgusting, hateful, cancerous human being I’ve ever come across. Regardless of your foul opinions most of the time, the fact that you would disrespect the life of a woman who was accidentally and tragically killed….Shame on you,” Ireland wrote along with a photo of Candace while tagging her.

Ireland then shared a tweet Candace wrote about Alec, which read, “Alec Baldwin spent 4 years dedicated to painting Donald Trump and his supporters as evil murderers. What has happened to Alec would be an example of poetic justice if it weren’t for the actual innocent people that were murdered by him. Pray for their families. So sad.”

Ireland added, “Yup… I’m going to go ahead and take that Instagram break. I am ashamed to [breathe] the same air as this woman.”

She went on to share more messages about how Candace‘s tweets and stance on being unvaccinated are “hurting people” before Ireland suggested followers should “hit that unfollow button if you’re trying to defame my father and tweet such horrific statements about this tragic situation. It breaks my heart that people are so hatefully ignorant…”

A short time later, Candace took to her own Instagram Story to call out Ireland.

“Ireland Baldwin is in my DMs because I don’t feel bad for her psychopathic father,” Candace wrote. “Feel bad for the victim, not Alec. He has always been a predator in Hollywood who was given a pass.”

She then shared a screenshot between herself and Ireland through DMs.

After some time, it appears that Candace and Ireland ended things on better terms, with Ireland sharing a DM screenshot where she wrote to Candace, “Thank you for taking the time to have a real conversation. Have a peaceful evening.”

Candace responded, writing, “No problem. Same to you.”

Along with the screenshot, Ireland added, “Some times having an actual conversation can go a long way…”

Shortly after news broke that Alec shot the prop gun that accidentally killed Halyna, Ireland shared her reaction, sending her love to the late cinematographer’s family.
